48 Hour Film Project teams of all experience levels begin at 7 PM on a Friday and deliver a finished 4- to 7-minute film by 7:30 PM Sunday. All cast and crew must be volunteers. Each team is assigned a genre, character, prop, and line of dialogue that they must work into their film. They are responsible for putting together a cast and crew, and getting equipment and anything else necessary to make a film/video in just a weekend.

Kick-off event on Friday, June 18th at Lafayette Square, San Francisco. Meet at Peet's Coffee: 2197 Filmore St in San Francisco then walk over to Lafayette Square.
Drop-off event on Sunday, June 20th at Sugar Cafe, 679 Sutter Street, San Francisco before 7:30pm.
NOTE: Minimum suggested donation is $30 but it is not required nor mandatory to participate as a volunteer for one of the roles identified above. (If you decided to donate, contribution includes one (1) $10 ticket to Premiere, see schedule below and defrays costs associated with producing the film).
